THE VIRAL BAKED FETA PASTA THING 2.0

The New York Times recently posted their version of that viral TikTok baked feta and tomato dish from a couple of years ago, and we realized we'd never tried it... so obviously we're adding Hot Tom today. This recipe is super simple, and with just a few ingredients you can have it on the table in basically half an hour.

 

 

INGREDIENTS

  • a block (8 oz.) of feta (or boursin for a meltier, herbier option)
  • 2 pints cherry tomatoes
  • 1 lb dried pasta (we recommend our campanelle of course)
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • salt and pepper
  • fresh basil
  • ❣️ HOT TOM ❣️

RECIPE

  1. Set oven to 400 degrees. Assemble tomatoes and feta in baking dish, lather with olive oil, salt, and pepper, and bake uncovered for 30 minutes, broiling for 3 minutes at very end.
  2. While tomatoes and feta are baking, boil your pasta in salted water until cooked. Drain and set aside.
  3. Once tomatoes & feta are finished, stir in cooked pasta slowly. Add 1/2 (or more!) jar of hot tom. Top with fresh basil and serve!
